Aqoza Launches Free Solar-Powered EV Charging for Employees
In a significant step toward strengthening its sustainability vision, Aqoza has announced the rollout of a new clean-energy initiative that offers free electric vehicle (EV) charging for employees’ two-wheelers. The initiative is powered entirely by the company’s 100% solar-based energy system. With its office and assembly unit now generating more renewable energy than required for operations, Aqoza has chosen to extend the benefits of this surplus to its workforce.
A Year of Free, Sun-Powered Mobility
Under the new initiative, employees can charge their electric scooters and bikes at no cost for the next one year. The policy will be reviewed in the following year based on solar energy availability and operational considerations, after which a renewed announcement will be made.
Advancing Clean Mobility
Aqoza emphasized that the initiative is aligned with its broader commitment to environmental responsibility and future-ready operations.
The program aims to:
- Reduce carbon emissions
- Promote electric mobility among employees
- Demonstrate practical applications of renewable energy
In essence, Aqoza’s employees can now commute using energy directly harnessed from the sun.
Tracking for Sustainability Reporting
To support the company’s carbon credit and sustainability reporting efforts, employees using the charging facility are requested to:
- Maintain a simple monthly log of charging activity
- Record approximate charging hours
- Submit the data to the Admin team at month-end
This information will help Aqoza measure impact and plan future sustainability initiatives more effectively.
