AQOZA CORROSENSE A01 is a device that monitors and stores real-time information on corrosivity on air and room which is crucial for effective protection of electronic components.

Atmosphere & Indoor corrosion monitor is a device based on ER technology, where it measures electric resistance of metal tracks exposed to atmosphere. The device works in compliance with international standard; ‘ANSI/ISA-S71.04 Environmental Conditions for Process Measurement and Control Systems: Airborne Contaminants’, for measuring corrosion levels of electronic & electrical equipment.

Principle of working:

The AQOZA CORROSENSE A01 works on ER technology, which directly measures electrical resistance of exposed and un-exposed metal tracks to calculate the corrosion rates. The corrosion severity levels are categorised based on ANSI/ISA-S71.04 international standard. The corrosion severity levels for Copper and Silver corrosion sensors are as follows:

AQOZA offers advanced corrosion coupons based on ER technology. AQOZA ER P01 corrosion coupons are designed to measure corrosion passively in a room. It involves field exposure of film for a period of 30 days and the films are taken back to lab at AQOZA where we determine the amount of corrosion that forms on copper and silver film by measuring the electrical resistance of the exposed and un-exposed metallic films. The device works in compliance with international standard; ‘ANSI/ISA-S71.04 Environmental Conditions for Process Measurement and Control Systems: Airborne Contaminants’, for measuring corrosion levels in the environment.

Copper and Silver coupon film analysis

The coupons are placed at site for period of 30 days and taken back to lab. The resistance of field exposed coupons is measured and to determine the corrosion levels. Corrosion rate is determined by ER technology and an analysis report is given to the customer. From the report customer can get a clear understanding of level of corrosion in the room, which helps the customer to determine the air filtration requirement.
